Terms & Service Agreement
Last Updated: July 26, 2026
By booking, purchasing, or authorizing a service from Southern Suds Mobile Detailing (“Southern Suds,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
1. Service Authorization
The customer authorizes Southern Suds Mobile Detailing to perform the detailing services selected during booking.
The customer confirms that they are the owner of the vehicle or otherwise have authority to authorize work on the vehicle.
2. Pricing
Pricing is based on the service selected, vehicle size, and, where applicable, vehicle condition.
The price shown for the selected service covers only the work specifically included in that package.
Work outside the selected package will not automatically be performed or charged without customer authorization.
Services advertised as “starting at” a particular price may vary when vehicle size, condition, contamination, or required labor materially changes the scope of work.
3. Vehicle Condition
Customers are responsible for accurately representing the condition of their vehicle when booking.
Conditions such as excessive pet hair, heavy staining, excessive sand or mud, bodily fluids, biological contamination, mold, severe odors, excessive trash, hazardous materials, or pest infestations may require a different service.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing reserves the right to decline work that presents an unreasonable health, safety, or contamination risk.
4. Southern Standard Refresh
The Southern Standard Refresh is intended specifically for vehicles that are already reasonably clean and well maintained.
It includes the exterior wash, interior vacuum, surface wipe-down, and other services specifically listed in the package description.
It is not intended to provide deep cleaning or restoration.
Vehicles requiring stain removal, extraction, significant pet-hair removal, odor treatment, excessive debris removal, or other deep cleaning may not qualify for this service and may require a higher-level detailing package.
5. Personal Belongings
Customers should remove valuables, money, important documents, firearms, medications, electronics, and other important personal belongings before the appointment.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing may work around personal belongings that have not been removed rather than removing or reorganizing them.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
6. Pre-Existing Damage
Detailing may reveal existing damage or deterioration previously concealed by dirt, grime, oxidation, stains, or contamination.
This may include scratches, paint chips, clear-coat failure, faded paint, cracked or peeling leather, worn upholstery, loose trim, damaged buttons, cracked plastics, wheel damage, tint damage, corrosion, water damage, or previously repaired surfaces.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing defects, deterioration, improper repairs, or damage resulting from the existing condition of the vehicle.
We may photograph or record the vehicle before, during, and after service for condition documentation.
7. Fragile or Damaged Components
Customers must disclose known fragile, loose, damaged, aftermarket, repaired, or malfunctioning components before service begins.
This includes aftermarket electronics, loose trim, damaged upholstery, failing clear coat, damaged window tint, custom accessories, wraps, decals, and previously repaired surfaces.
8. Detailing Results
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing will use professional methods and reasonable care to achieve the best practical result for the service purchased.
Complete removal of every stain, scratch, odor, contaminant, defect, or imperfection cannot be guaranteed.
Some conditions may be permanent or require specialized repair beyond the scope of automotive detailing.
9. Mold & Biological Contamination
Mold-removal detailing is intended to clean and treat affected vehicle surfaces within the scope of the purchased service.
Results may vary depending on the source, severity, duration, and location of contamination.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing does not provide medical advice, environmental certification, or guarantee that a vehicle will remain permanently free of mold.
If an underlying source of moisture or water intrusion is not repaired, mold or related contamination may return.
Customers should have leaks, HVAC issues, drainage problems, or other moisture sources professionally repaired when applicable.
10. Paint Correction
Paint correction is intended to improve the appearance of paint defects within the safe limitations of the vehicle’s paint system.
Not every scratch or defect can safely be removed.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing will not intentionally compromise clear-coat or paint integrity solely to achieve complete defect removal.
Deep scratches, chips, failing clear coat, repaint defects, or other significant damage may require professional body-shop repair.
11. Ceramic Coatings & Protection Products
The durability and performance of ceramic coatings, sealants, waxes, and other protection products depend on vehicle usage, storage, environmental exposure, maintenance, washing methods, and other factors outside Southern Suds Mobile Detailing’s control.
Any applicable manufacturer warranty is subject to that manufacturer’s specific warranty requirements.
12. Mobile Service & Vehicle Access
The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time.
There must be sufficient and legally permissible space for Southern Suds Mobile Detailing to perform the service safely.
The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from apartment complexes, workplaces, HOAs, parking facilities, property owners, or other applicable parties.
13. Weather & Working Conditions
Appointments may need to be delayed, relocated, rescheduled, or canceled because of severe weather, unsafe working conditions, property restrictions, or other circumstances that prevent the service from being performed safely or properly.
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing will make reasonable efforts to communicate scheduling changes.
14. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice before their scheduled appointment if they need to cancel or reschedule.
Customers should contact Southern Suds Mobile Detailing as soon as possible when a scheduling change is necessary so the appointment time can be made available to another customer.
Customers who fail to be available for a scheduled appointment without providing notice may be required to contact Southern Suds Mobile Detailing directly before another appointment is accepted.
For mobile appointments, the vehicle must be accessible at the scheduled appointment time.
If Southern Suds Mobile Detailing cannot access the vehicle or begin work because of a customer-caused delay, the appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on the remaining time available.
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights provided to customers under applicable law.
15. Completion & Customer Inspection
Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle when service is completed.
If there is a concern regarding the work performed, the customer should contact Southern Suds Mobile Detailing as soon as reasonably possible and provide us an opportunity to inspect and address the concern.
16. Photos & Videos
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing may photograph or record vehicles for condition documentation, quality control, training, and service records.
Permission to publicly use vehicle photos or videos for advertising, social media, or other marketing purposes is requested separately during booking and is always optional — it is never required to book a service.
When practical, license plates, addresses, personal documents, and other identifying information should not be publicly displayed.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Southern Suds Mobile Detailing is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the detailing service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the vehicle’s size, type, condition, existing damage, aftermarket modifications, known fragile components, contamination, access restrictions, and other conditions reasonably relevant to performing the service.
19. Right to Refuse Service
Southern Suds Mobile Detailing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when reasonably necessary because of unsafe conditions, hazardous contamination, abusive or threatening behavior, inaccessible vehicles, materially misrepresented vehicle condition, or circumstances preventing the service from being safely and properly performed.
20. Governing Law
This Terms & Service Agreement is governed by applicable laws of the State of Texas.
Nothing contained in these terms is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
21. Acceptance
By checking the agreement box and completing a booking, the customer acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review these terms and agrees to them.
